A petition was filed in the Lahore High Court (LHC), seeking the expulsion of the US envoy.
According to a private television channel, the petitioner’s lawyer, Iqbal Jaffery, maintained that the US raid in Abbottabad was a violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty so the court should order the government to take the matter to the International Court of Justice.
The petitioner demanded that the US envoy should be expelled until the US would apologise for violating Pakistan’s territorial boundaries and Pakistan should also call back its envoy from Washington. The petitioner also said that Pakistan should cut the supply line of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation forces in response to the attack on the national sovereignty.
