Township Gymkhana beat Pioneer Club by 12 runs at the former’s ground in the best of three Madr-e-Millat Mohtarma Fatimah Jinnah series. Township scored 212 in 25 overs. Mujahid Sharif (64) and Zobair Ali (32) were the top scorers. Pioneer’s Faisal took four wickets for 42 runs, Zohaib took three for 32 while Hasan Azam bagged three for 40. In reply, Pioneer were dismissed for 200 runs. Nadeem Javed Butt (52), Gul Khan (30) and Aslam Khan (28) were the prominent batsmen.
Township’s Imran took four wickets for 42 runs, while Mujahid grabbed three for 38. Mujahid Sharif was named man of the match.
