Prime Minister Gillani has asked the nation and all the institutions to stand together in his special address to the parliament a few days ago. What makes this call important is that it has been uttered only after the nation has been stripped off of its dignity in every possible manner. After the Abbottabad incident, our leaders seem to have found some sense in the centuries old saying of union is strength. It is high time we should reassess our priorities in regard to our cooperation in the war against terrorism.
