Umair Ashraf, the national junior champion, has set his sights on the Mr Pakistan contest after winning the Mr Junior title. Talking to Pakistan Today, Ashraf seemed determined to excel in the contest, that is to be held in December this year. Ashraf is the current Mr Junior Champion and Muscle Mania winner and has been preparing hard for the Mr Pakistan contest. “I am working under the guidance of Mr Pakistan Mohammad Haneef and the place I am enjoying in the sport is only due to the support of Mohammad Haneef and Mr Pakistan Shoaib Zahoor,” Ashraf added.
He also pointed out that the extensive use of muscle developing drugs among the new bodybuilders was not only damaging for the game but also harmful for health in the long run. He urged the government to take appropriate measures to keep the youth of the country away from illegal drugs and draw them towards healthy activities.Ashraf said Mr Pakistan was his immediate target, and he would later try his luck at the international level.
