Moderate earthquake rocks Kashmir

An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale rocked the Kashmir valley Saturday morning, even as no report of loss of life or property was reported from anywhere so far.
“The magnitude of the earthquake was 4.9 on the Richter scale and it occurred at 2.39 a.m. (PST). It’s epicentre was in Hindu Kush mountain range of Afghanistan. The location was 36.58 north (Longitude) and 70.93 east (Latitude),” Amir Ali, incharge of the disaster management cell at the provincial headquarters told the media.
