Apparently, it is time now for the wives of OBL to reveal the wealth of information that they surely have. They could be instrumental in filling the huge voids that still shroud the Osama murder story in complete mystery. The can provide answers to many multi-million dollar questions. Why did OBL choose Abbottabad as his hideout right under the nose of the Pakistan army that he so detested? What kind of a life was he leading? Why was he totally unarmed? Had he handed over the reins of Al-Qaeda to his second in command? And so on…would certainly make the act of deciphering the murky situation much easier for us mere mortals.
According to the claims of the wives, who had spent every living day and night with him, not going out at all, he was leading a completely inactive life without any access to a computer, internet or a mobile phone. He had been without any link to the outside world as he possessed no such communication devises that would give him away, thus, evading capture by the intelligence sources.
The contradictory information that colossal data about his future course of action has been retrieved from OBL’s den doesn’t fit into the story. According to a story in The NewYork Times, it is being asserted that the terror mastermind was a prolific email writer, despite having no internet or phone connection in his Pakistan hideout. He had “adopted a painstaking process in order to send hundreds of emails to his henchmen without being detected”. How does one undergo such “painstaking” process without even the presence of a computer and still be a “prolific” e-mail writer” I wonder? Too many pictures are being fitted in a single frame, making the canvas unattractive and the product implausible with every passing day.
