1,900 MRI injections expire in Jinnah Hospital

Around 1,900 expensive Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) injections have expired in Jinnah Hospital’s stores while the poor patients are being forced to buy these injections from the market. Young Doctors Association Punjab (YDAP) office-bearers Dr Rana Sohail, Dr Salman Kazmi, Dr Talha Sherwani and Dr Khuda Bukhsh said the Jinnah Hospital medical superintendent and the chief executive were responsible for this negligence that led to the loss of hundreds of thousands of rupees from public funds. They demanded the Punjab chief minister take action against all those responsible for the loss of public money.
