  1. I am lodging a complain with the authorities regarding the regular bombardment of Hindi language on the young children through cable TV.
I have installed T.V cable at Swati gate Peshawar at my home. To improve the leaning abilities of my children and to make them more enlightened I allow them to watch certain channels on cable TV. It is so unfortunate that all the channels for children are in Hindi. Though I have lodged many times complaints in this regard but to no avail.
It seems to be some kind of national agenda which is being followed by cable TV networks.
If children will be watching English language programs it will improve their English which is an international language and ultimately will be used by them in their higher studies. But as mission by cable operators children are being taught Hindi, Indian culture and Hindu mythology.
It is unfortunate that Government is not making it compulsory that the cable operators should have at least two educational channels for young children but at least it can put a ban on Hindi cartoon channels and ask the cable operators to have English channels for children which are now in Hindi such as cartoon network, Disney channel and Neck etc.

    Thank you.
