The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday has restricted President Asif Ali Zardari from conducting political activities at the Presidency.
According to a private television channel, the LHC five-member bench headed by the LHC Chief Justice Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry mentioned in its 35 page decision that a president should be neutral.
The verdict further mentioned that the presidency could not be used for political activities.
An application was submitted challenging the dual offices of President Zardari, the president and the co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party.

  1. Zardari will never leave any of his offices just because no one can make him do that. There are enough Bhutto's followers to make him a president, and there are enough "Jayalay" to keep him both the president and party head.

  2. It is pertinent to note that LHC is the only court from where strange types of verdicts are announced. One feels as if they are members of PML-N and not judges of any court of law.
