At least eight people were killed in a US drone strike launched Thursday morning in North Waziristan Agency.
According to media reports, the US drone fired two missiles at a vehicle in Datta Khel area of the Agency.
As a result, eight people were killed while the vehicle was completely destroyed in the incident.
Thursday morning’s strike is the 28th of its kind reported in Pakistan since this year.
At least 202 people have reportedly been killed in such strikes in 2011.
On March 17, the US drones fired several missiles at a jirga meeting of local people in North Waziristan, killing over 40 civilians at the meeting
Its shocking that all the talk of breach of sovereignty was limited to the US raid that killed Osama. Every other day we have these drones come in and pound us, and we dont even hear anyone utter a word about it!
