The Punjab chief minister (CM) will launch the distribution process of five Marla plots under the Jinnah Abadies Scheme among 46,168 homeless people on May 28, senior adviser to the CM Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa said in a meeting of the Jinnah Abadies’ provincial supervisory committee on Wednesday.
The committee was also told that 661 Jinnah Abadies had been set up. Khosa said plot distribution ceremonies will be held. 5,459 plots in Lahore, 2,370 in Gujranwala, 505 in Rawalpindi, 1,061 in Sargodha, 13,840 in Faisalabad, 10,160 in Multan, 3,153 in Dera Ghazi Khan and 5,656 in Bahawalpur will be allotted.
