APCA to protest against pay scales

The All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA) will hold a rally today (Thursday) to press its demand for implementation of the Pay and Pension Commission’s recommendations and to protest against the soaring petroleum prices. The decision was taken in a meeting presided over by APCA Lahore chapter President Muhammad Irshad on Copper Road on Wednesday.
Condemning the criticism of their justified demands, APCA leaders said they would burn the effigies of Fauzia Wahab and Abida Hussain outside the Punjab Assembly. The APCA demanded a salary raise in line with rising prices and urged the government to upgrade their pay scales according to the Pension Commission’s recommendations before the upcoming budget.

I would like to bring your kind notice about great disparity. the Govt of Pakistan upgraded the posts of LDC,UDC and assistant etc alongwith Junior auditor and senior auditor with effect from 1-7-2007, vide Fiance Division No.F.6(4)R.I/2006 dated29-6-2007 (copy attached). Now the Finance Division has approved upgradation of the posts of Junior auditors and senior auditors etc with effect from 12-9-2005,with back benefits.vide their O.M F.No.9(9).Regs-i/2008 dated 24-8-2011.You are requested to kindly take up the case with Fiance Division Islamabad for upgradation of LDC,UDC and Assistant etc on the same anology for the grant of upgradation with retrospective effect ie with effect from 2005, as given to the Junior auditor and senior auditors etc.I hope you will fight for the genuine rights of clerks
