It is difficult to believe that helicopters could enter Pakistan’s airspace without being detected for all of 40 minutes. PAF planes did scramble immediately but it appears they did not get clearance from the top to intercede.
If government can tell the US to go ahead with drone attacks and not worry about collateral damage, it could well have done the same here.
