At least nine suspects were arrested and a large cache of arms and ammunition recovered during a search operation by rangers here on Wednesday.
According to reports, the rangers recovered a large quantity of weapons during a random search operation in Malir, Khokhrapar areas of the metropolis while nine persons were taken into custody.
Among the recovered weapons are included 10 rocket launchers, 9 Kalashnikovs, one machine gun, bullets and other fire arms.
Rangers’ search operation in Mair, Khokhrapar areas and recovery of heavy arms carried great significance as this area was constantly troubled by ongoing target killings in the city.
