At least two persons, including a lady constable and a police man, were killed while eight others were injured in a blast at Nowshehra’s district court on Tuesday, police said.
According to reports, a bomb blast occurred in the premises of the court. As a result two persons were killed while eight others were injured.
According to the bomb disposal squad one kilogram of explosive material was used in the blast.
After the incident, the rescue teams rushed to the blast site and moved the injured and dead bodies to the District Headquarter Hospital of Nowshehra while police cordoned off the area.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani strongly condemned the blast outside District Courts. The Prime Minister directed the authorities concerned to provide proper medial treatment to the injured.
