Two Sunni Tehreek (ST) activists, who were shot and injured in separate incidents, succumbed to their injuries on Monday. North Nazimabad police said that Mehmood Qadri, who was shot by some unidentified people outside a shop in Wahid Colony on Sunday night, died at the hospital.
Separately, an ST activist Mehmood Hussain, who was shot by Pakistan Rangers in Ranchore Lines on April 7, died at the Civil Hospital Karachi. Eidgah police said that the Hussain was shot when Rangers had opened fire on some men, who were forcing shops to shut down following the killing of an ST activist.
