At least three insurgents were killed in Malabanda area of Lower Dir during a clash with security forces on Tuesday.
According to a private television channel, the insurgents launched a sudden attack on the security forces in Jandol, Lower Dir. The security forces retaliated to the attack and killed at least three of them.
The forces also recovered a kalashnikove, three pistols and large quantity of explosive from their possessions.
After the incident, the law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area and started search operation.
