President Zardari will leave for Russia tomorrow

President Asif Ali Zardari will visit Russia from May 11-14 for talks with his Russian counterpart on the entire gamut of bilateral relations, regional and international issues including peace in Afghanistan.
According to Foreign Office sources, President Zardari visit will inject further momentum into Pakistan’s friendship and partnership with Russia.
President will be accompanied by a high level delegation during the four day visit to Russia where he will meet his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and host of other high ups.
Sources say that President will also address Pakistani Community in Russia besides meeting with high ups of Members of the Parliament and Russian journalists.
Sources further told Online that the visit is of significance importance as bilateral ties as well as the regional and international issues of mutual interest, focus on further strengthening bilateral trade and economic relations, importance of enhanced economic relations between the two countries as well as a regional approach and cooperation to deal with the challenge of terrorism and last but not the least to boost bilateral relations and cooperation in trade, energy, investment, science and technology, agriculture and education will be the highlight of the visit of President Zardari to Russia.
