Pakistan A team’s series against Afghanistan from 25th

The Pakistan A team will play a three-match ODI series against Afghanistan national team from May 25. The tour was finalised after a meeting between the Pakistan Cricket Board and Afghanistan Cricket Board officials earlier this month at the Gaddafi Stadium under the chair of Amir Nawab, member Board of Governors PCB and Coordinator for Afghan Cricket.
The ACB officials wanted the Pakistan national team to play against them but the PCB chairman rejected the idea and instead offered them to play a series against the Pakistan A team. Now the PCB, after consultations, have announced a three-match series starting from May 25. The Afghanistan team will arrive on May 24 and play its first match at Faisalabad, which will be a day and night affair while the remaining two matches at Rawalpindi and Abbottabad will be played in day light.
An official of the board informed that PCB has also decided to provide the ACB training for their staff in various cricket relating fields. For that a 10-member contingent of ACB will travel to Lahore in near future, he added.
