No decision has been made about the summer vacations in the province’s schools yet, the spokesman for the Sindh Chief Minister said on Monday. In a statement, he clarified the reports published in the press quoting the Sindh Education Department.
The spokesman said that the Standing Committee on Education Department has recommended that this year the summer vacations in the schools should start in July instead of June. However, he further said, no decision has been made in this regard yet.
The Education Department would meet with the representatives of private schools’ managements and all the stakeholders on May 11 to incorporate their recommendations, after which the final decision would be made, he said.
