No clue to heirs of man who died in Indian jail

The Daska police are making hectic efforts to trace the heirs of a Pakistani Muhammad Shabbir, son of Bashir Ahmed, who reportedly died in an Indian jail a few days ago. The police officials have made announcements through loudspeakers in almost all the urban and rural areas but have so far failed to locate his heirs. A senior police official said the Punjab home secretary had faxed a message to Sialkot DPO Bilal Siddique Kamyana that a resident of Daska, Muhammad Shabir had expired in an Indian jail. He asked the DPO to ensure an early search of his heirs so that they could collect the body.
