Kalsoom Bai Valika Hospital to start teaching

Kalsoom Bai Valika Hospital would be made a teaching hospital, Sindh Labour Minister Amir Nawab Khan announced on Monday. He was talking to doctors and consultants of the Valika Hospital. The minister said that Valika Hospital would start teaching and steps have been initiated for post-graduation in nursing.
“The College of Physicians and Surgeons has selected five departments of Valika Hospital for post-graduate training,” he added. Khan said that the Sindh Employees’ Social Security Institution (SESSI) is taking steps to provide patients with better facilities at the its hospitals. He also said that an amount of Rs 180.9 million is being spent on buying medicines this year.
“There is no more shortage of consultants and doctors the service structure of the para-medical staff has been revived,” he said.
