The Punjab University (PU) administration on Monday termed the press release issued by the Islami-Jamiat Tulba (IJT), regarding holding of the book fair jointly with the administration, fictitious and baseless.The administration said there was no agreement and involvement of any student organisation in holding of the book fair.
They said like previous years, the PU administration was organising the book fair with the help of faculty members and students, on its own. They said a draw was held after the administration received a large number of applications for booking of the stalls adding that the stalls were allotted to the publishers who applied. They also said because of huge response, the administration would entertain the applications for booking by 12pm, today.
