The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) on Saturday clarified news reports published in a section of press claiming that PAF radars were inoperative on the night of May 2 when the US helicopters entered into the Pakistan air space to kill Osama bin Laden. A statement issued by the PAF called the reports about PAF’s radars being inactive on the night of May 2, 2011 misleading. “The factual position is that all the radars of the Pakistan Air Force were active on the night of 2 May 2011, per the peace time deployment policy of PAF,” the statement said.
