Executive District Officer (EDO) Health Dr Muhammad Aslam Hameed has urged the parents to cooperate with the health department in the three-day anti-polio drive, being started in the district from May 9, by getting their children under the age of five years vaccinated.
Addressing a meeting, he said 830 teams had been formed to vaccinate 326,000 childrden. District Officer Health Dr Nawazish Ali Goraya, District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) Hafizabad Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Muhammad Hussain, Dr Raja Nasar Iqbal, Dr Muhammad khalid and Dr Ms Rubab Zohra were also present.
