Paramedics threat to commit suicide

Punjab Paramedics Alliance (PPA) while protesting infront of the Lahore General Hospital, on Friday, threatened that a number of paramedics would commit suicide infront of the Chief Minister’s house on May 18, if the government did not issue their service structure. Paramedics, led by PPA President Malik Munir Ahmed, marched from the emergency to the administration block and demanded immediate issuance of service structure.
The PPA office bearers said they would protest at the divisional level on May 13 and if the government did not consider their demands, they would commit suicide. Lahore General Hospital PPA members including Rehmat Sindhu, Rana Basharat, Umar Zaman Qureshi, Aslam Sial, Rana Idrees, Muhammad Ashiq and Mian Mehmood also participated in the protest.
