Complete shutter down strike in Quetta

Complete shutter down strike is observed on Saturday in almost all parts of the provincial capital on the call of Pashtunkhwa Mili Awami Party against the firing incident in which six youths were killed and 12 others sustained injuries at Brewery Road, the other day.
The strike call initially given by the PkMAP was endorsed and supported by Hazara Democratic Party and Injuman e Tajiran. All markets, popular shopping centers and other business centers have been closed at the Jinnah Road, Kandahari Bazaar, Liaqat Bazaar, Prince Road, Pashtunabad, Toghi Road, Alamdar Road, Brewery Road, Sariab Road and other areas.
Traffic was flying on the roads in a much less number than usual and youths were seen playing cricket on some of the city main roads.
A large number of police and personnel from other law enforcing agencies were seen deployed and patrolling the center and suburbs of the provincial metropolis. No violent incident related to the strike has been reported from any part of the city.
