The reports from Data Khel tehsil, situated very close to Pak Afghan border in North Waziristan, say that eight missiles were fired from US drone. The missiles hit a house and a vehicle, situated close to a tea stall in village Dawa Toyee. The house and vehicle were completely destroyed and nearby houses were partially damaged.
The identity of killed and injured couldn’t determine but the local tribesmen believe that they included some foreigners. Soon after drone attack, the site was cordoned of by militants and they shifted the killed and injured people to unknown place.
On April 22, last drone attack on a house at Hassan Khel in Mirali killed 25 and injured several others.
The government and almost all of the political circles are denouncing US drone attacks in tribal regions. But the US authorities believe that drone missiles are focused on militants who are involved in deadly attacks against the allied troops across the border in Afghanistan.
