We keep seeing comedy of errors almost everyday, thanks to our government. The way they are looking after the interests of the poor masses is evident from the April 30th increase in petroleum prices. This increase is the third in the last 60 days. The irony is that all the other political parties, unlike earlier protests and demonstrations, are keeping fingers on their lips as if it is not their concern. Then there is this reconciliation and friendly hand between the PPP and PML(Q). How the winds change their course! One is compelled to say that Pakistan is a textbook case of state captured by corrupt and self-serving elites. The poor and the country are of no concern to them. Pakistan is suffering because of its ruling elite who cannot see love of a free country and who cannot function beyond personal selfishness.
When will we see change for the better?
