Multan, Lahore and Karachi won their matches on Thursday while Sialkot held PHF Academy to a draw in the 3rd PHF Junior Super Hockey League. The event, being played here at the National Hockey Stadium, also saw Lahore displace Faisalabad at the top of the points table when they beat one of the title favourites in today’s league match. It was a close contest in which Lahore took the lead. Faisalabad leveled the score, but Lahore came from behind to win 2-1.
The opening match of the day was played between Sialkot and PHF Academy which ended in a draw. PHF Academy struck first but Sialkot fought their way into to the game to level the score. Multan, on the other hand, hammered Quetta 10 goals to nil, not allowing them a single chance to score. Karachi managed a two-nil win against Peshawar; both the goals came in the opening session. Today (Friday) one match will be played when Sialkot will take on Quetta.
