Water and Power Ministry has issued a notification of 2 percent hike in electricity tariff on Friday.
According to a private television channel, 8 paisa increase has been said for the domestic consumers that use more than 100 units, 13 paisa for those who use 100 to 300 units, 21 paisa for users more than 300 to 700 units and 27 paisa for those consumers who use more than 700 units.
21 paisa per unit has been increased in tariff of 11 kilo watts temporary supply, notification said.
