Quality education at grassroots level promised

The Punjab government under Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had taken giant steps to promote quality education at grassroots level, said Punjab Assembly Speaker Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan while addressing an annual prize distribution ceremony at the ACE School System Faisalabad as a chief guest. He added that under the directions of Shahbaz Sharif, revolutionary steps had been taken for the promotion of quality education for the children of low income community.
He said Rs 50 billion were allocated in the budget of the current financial year for health and education alone. Other speakers on the occasion were General (R) Tauqir Zia, famous film artist Qavi Khan, journalist Khalid Masud Khan, comedians Sakhawat Naz and Amanat Chan, ACE Vice Chairman Muhammad Sarwar, Human Rights Parliamentary Secretary Tahir Saleem Sandhu, Senator Syed Sajjad Bukhari and others prominent members of the local community.
Rana Iqbal said the enemies of Islam, Pakistan and humanity were involved in terrorist activities in the country but the nation would foil their nefarious designs with the passion of patriotism. He urged the young generation to follow the teachings of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Muhammad Iqbal for a prosperous and strong Pakistan.
