With target killings in Karachi continuing unabated, President Asif Ali Zardari told PPP MPAs from Sindh on Tuesday that a handful of vicious elements would not be allowed to disturb the peace and stability in Karachi, the country’s economic hub. “All those involved in targeted killings and acts of violence will be brought to justice regardless of their (political) affiliations,” the president said. Condemning the recent incidents of violence in Karachi, the president directed the authorities concerned to tackle the perpetrators of these heinous crimes with an iron fist and take all out measures to maintain law and order in the city.
