Karachi Zebras and Karachi Dolphins earned semifinals berths in the All Sindh Inter-District T20 Cricket Tournament by overcoming their respective opponents. At PCB Ground Dadu, Akbar Rehman captured four wickets for 25 runs and Faheem Ahmed claimed three wickets for 25 runs as Karachi Zebras beat hosts Dadu by six wickets. Batting first, Dadu were bowled out for 137 on the last ball of the 20th over.
Noor Muhammad hit a fighting 44 with six boundaries. Karachi Zebras in response romped home for the loss of four wickets with five balls to spare. Ramiz Aziz hit five fours in his 39 and Akbar Rehman followed his four-wicket haul with an attacking knock of 33 laced with four hits to the boundary and one over it. At Niaz Stadium Hyderabad, Karachi Dolphins defeated Mirpurkhas by five wickets.
Mirpurkhas could muster only 104-9 in their 20 overs against some tight Karachi bowling.
Off-spinner Junaid Ilyas caused the main damage by grabbing three wickets for 15. Karachi Dolphin in reply reached the target for the loss of five wicket with more then four overs remaining. Opener Fakhar Zaman made 44 with five strikes to the boundary and
Fazal Subhan 34 with the aid of four boundaries.
