Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) Chairman Sahibzada Haji Fazale Karim has demanded that the government take all political leaders into confidence over Osama Bin Laden’s killing in Abbotabad. He was addressing a reception organised in honour of Al Mustafa Welfare Trust International UK (AMWT) Chairman Abdul Razzaq Sajid at Alhamra on Wednesday. Dr Ajmal Niazi, renowned columnist and writer, Irshad Arif, senior journalist, Mian Khalid Habib Elahi and religious leaders including Ajmal Shah, Atharul Qadri, Nawaz Kharal, Ashraf Saeedi, Naeem Arif Noori and Irshad Javed, among a large number of religious workers, were present on the occasion. Fazale Karim said, “We are against terrorists; be it Osama or Obama”.
He alleged that America had funded terrorists in the past in the name of Jihad and the Abbotabad operation was a drama. He said the government’s ignorance of the operation was surprising. He said that the government must clear its position and take nation into confidence because if the government did not know about the operation then it should resign for being incompetent enough to allow an attack on Pakistan’s sovereignty. He said SIC would organise a train march on September 11 from Karachi to Islamabad.
