HBO has released a first look at actress Julianne Moore in her full Sarah Palin wardrobe and makeup. Moore transformed herself to Palin in ‘Game Change,’ donning the trademark hair, boxy red jacket and rimless glasses. The actress is to portray the former Alaska Governor and vice presidential candidate in the HBO film, which began its production on Wednesday.
The film, based on the best-selling book by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin, will follow U.S. senator John McCain“s 2008 presidential bid. Starring Ed Harris as the senator, the film will show his selection of Palin as a running mate, to the eventual defeat in the 2008 general election. Woody Harrelson portrays Steve Schmidt, McCain’s senior advisor, while ‘Lost’ actress Melissa Farman will play Palin’s daughter Bristol.
