The judicial enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) is critical to economic growth of a country and also ensures safety of the consumers, said Delissa A Ridgway, Judge of the US Court of International Trade on Saturday. Briefing the journalists here about the discussions pertaining to Judicial Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights with Pakistan’s judiciary. Ridgway said Pakistan was among the 150 countries who are signatory to the United Nations Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards, was important for economic growth of any country.
