On the call of the Punjab Bar Council (PbBC), lawyers on Saturday observed a complete boycott of courts to condemn the murder of senior lawyer Ali Muhammad Dahri in Nawabshah. Black flags were hoisted on bar premises and lawyers wore black armbands to register their protest. Lawyers demanded immediate arrest of the killers and exemplary punishment to them. Cases at subordinate courts were adjourned without any proceedings, as lawyers did not contest cases due to the boycott.
