Recruitment of junior clerks in the Lahore High Court (LHC) will be made purely on merit, LHC Chief Justice (CJ) Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry said on Friday while clarifying the recruitment policy of the court.
According to LHC Registrar Sohail Nasir, the LHC CJ said that a transparent method has been adopted to recruit clerks in the court. Around 25,000 applications have been received and all applicants will be updated on all levels and details would be released on the LHC website. Applicants could meet the registrar in his office, if an official or other person demanded money for recruitment, so that stern action could be taken against them.
