The PML(Q) in their recent press conference has reportedly said that they were offered “everything under the sun” for joining the ruling coalition and what they have been offered seems to match the description. Senior ministership for Mr Elahi, some cabinet slots and taking back of “politically motivated” cases against the PML(Q).
How fast is the change in Pakistani politics? These two were sworn enemies not long ago and now are the bets of bosom buddies soon to be ruling a country together. But reservations about this coalition are present in both the parties. Let’ see how long will this last? Reasonable guess: not for long.
