Pakistan’s emerging cueman Muhammad Shahid Aftab stormed into the quarter-finals of the 27th Asian Snooker Championship in Indore, India by out-potting Muhammad Al Joaker of United Arab Emirates 5-0 on Thursday.
Shahid, who is making his debut in the competition, dominated his last 16 matches to earn a place in the last eighth round. Pakistan’s ace cueist and top seed Muhammad Sajjad and Imran Shehzad failed to qualify for the knock-out round.
