In compliance with the Supreme Court’s orders, the Punjab government has terminated 18 officers appointed on a contract basis.
The officers whose contracts have been terminated are: Additional Director Lt Col Sajid-ul-Bari, Home Dept Deputy Director (Operations) Azhar Hussain, Abdul Ghafoor and Syed Ashfaq from the Literacy & Non Formal Basic Education Dept, Advisor Projects and Planning Sheikh Farooq, TEVTA Assistant Manager/PSO to Chairperson M Iqbal, Finance Dept Consultant (Technical) Rab Nawaz, C&W Dept Punjab House Karachi Comptroller S Mehdi Hassan, ACE Headquarter SIU members (Judicial) Sher Zaheer and Sakhi Muhammad, ACE Headquarter Member Police SIU Abdul Khaliq, ACE Headquarter Member Revenue SIU Nasir Javed, Qari Ahmad from the Chief Minister’s Secretariat S&GAD, Junior Statistician M Hafeez, Punjab Seed Corporation (PSC) Assistant Director Mahar Akbar, PSC Documentation Officer Arif Khan, PSC Photographer M Ayub and PSC Agriculture Dept Assistant Ferzand Ali.
