Punjab University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran and Director PU Model United Nations Society Prof Shaista Sonnu Sirajuddin have extended their heartiest gratitude to Government of Finland via His Excellency Ambassador Osmo Lipponen for their financial contribution to PU Model United Nations Society.
Their support was highly acknowledged by the Vice-Chancellor who expressed hope that his collaboration will pave way for future endeavors in association with Government of Finland. Embassy of Finland, Islamabad partially funded the delegation of Punjab University Model United Nations (PUMUN) for participation in Finnish Model United Nations (FinMUN) 2011 held at Helsinki, Finland.
POETRY COLLECTION BOOK LAUNCH: Punjab University Department of Urdu will organize the launching ceremony of renowned teacher, researcher, critic and professor emeritus Dr Kh Muhammad Zakriyat’s poetry collection titled “Ashob” on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 10:30 AM in the Senate Hall of PU Old Campus. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran will preside over the ceremony while Dr Kh Muhammad Zakriya will be the chief guest. Shahzad Ahmad, Dr Khurshid Rizvi, Dr Saadat Saeed, Dr Muhammad Fakhar-ul-Haq Noori and Dr Aurangzeb Alamgir will also share their views on the occasion.
