MQM chief condemns attack on Navy bus

Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain condemned the bomb attack on a Pakistan Navy bus near Karsaz on Thursday. Hussain expressed grief over the incident that left some Navy men and a pedestrian dead and caused serious injuries to many others. He said that the attacks on Navy buses in quick succession were acts of blatant terrorism.
He also said that Navy personnel were being targeted by terrorists according to a well-planned conspiracy. He added that terrorists targeting Navy personnel were enemies of the state. He demanded President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take notice of bomb attacks on Navy buses in the city. He said that the government should take steps to provide security to government employees.
He sympathised with the family members of those who lost their lives in the blast and prayed for the early recovery of the wounded.
