Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has appreciated performance of the Competitive Commission of Pakistan (CCP) with regard to check anti-trust and anti-cartelisation through enhanced competitiveness. He said that the government would support the CCP to play its due role in good governance.
The prime minister was talking to a delegation of the CCP, which called on him at the Prime Minister’s House here on Thursday. The three member delegation was led by CCP Chairperson Rahat Kaunain Hussain. The prime minister also appreciated the idea of organising an international conference in October this year by the CCP with the aid of Competitive Support Fund.
The chairperson thanked the prime minister for his support in enhancing the effectiveness of the CCP by completing the full strength of the commission.
