Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Thursday appreciated performance of Competitive Commission of Pakistan with regard to check anti-trust and anti-cartelization via enhanced competitiveness.
Talking to Rahat Kaunain Hussain, Chairperson of CCP who led a delegation, the Prime Minister said the government would support the CCP to play its due role in good governance. The Prime Minister also appreciated the idea of organizing an international conference in October this year by the CCP with the aid of Competitive Support Fund.
The Chairperson thanked the Prime Minister for his support in enhancing the effectiveness of the CCP by completing the full strength of the Commission. She also discussed the organizational matters during the meeting.
