National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP) N-5 Central on Wednesday arrested 22 people involved in different criminal activities and seized illegal arms, vehicles, stolen wood, electricity wire, mobile phones and other valuables. The police also helped in re-uniting five lost children with their families. NH&MP officers arrested Ibrar, Khalid Javed, Dildar Hussain, Riaz, Safdar Iqbal, Ali Sher, Nadeem, Sajid, Abdul Manan, Abdul Sattar, Sarfraz, Yousaf, Qasim, Asad Masood, Sana Ullah, Tanveer Abbas, Arif, Riaz Ahmad, Shahid Iqbal, Abdul Shakoor, Azmatullah and Asif. A huge amount of arms, two cars, a van, copper wire, timber, intoxicating material and other valuables were also seized. On the directions of NH&MP N-5 Central DIG Fateh Sher Joya the arrested criminals and recovered items have been handed over to the local police. NH&MP officers helped Ahmad Raza (8), Bilal (12), Zeshaan (9), Irfan (20) and Fiaz Faridi in reuniting with their families.
