Interior Ministry on Wednesday sought complete details of the persons missing from across the country, from the police inspector generals and other authorities concerned by April 30. The development has come after the Supreme Court’s directives in this regard. On Wednesday Interior Minister Rehman Malik chaired a high-level meeting at the ministry office. Interior Secretary, inspector generals from the four provinces, Islamabad Chief Commissioner, Islamabad IG, National Crisis Management Cell DG and representatives of the intelligence agencies were present at the meeting.
Malik directed the concerned authorities to follow the SC orders and accelerate efforts to recovery of missing persons. He said that the profiles and complete detail of the missing persons must be submitted to the Ministry by April 30.
