Blind justice or justice blinded?

They say justice should not only be done, it should be seen to be done. Well, it seems in the case of Mukhtaran Mai, it is neither done nor it is seen to be done. After what she has been through, first her ordeal at the hands of those savage panchayatis, then the actual rapists, and then her years long struggle to get herself justice, it all has been rendered useless after the decision of the Supreme Court. Should not our justice system be more dynamic and democratic if victims like Mai have to get justice?
