Orangi Town to get 200-bed hospital

A 200-bed general hospital would be built in Orangi Town at a cost of Rs 700 million, Sindh Labour Minister Amir Nawab Khan announced on Monday. “The PC-I of the project has been prepared and forwarded to the Chief Minister’s House for approval,” he added. The minister was inaugurating the water pipeline laying work in Islamnagar UC 1. He said that provision of the drinking water was a longstanding demand of the people of the area. Nawab said that the water pipeline is being laid using the money from his MPA Development Fund. He also announced that his MPA Fund would provide Rs 20 million for more development schemes in the area.
